Carmina is a thoughtful and caring teacher. She meets students where they are and offers individualized instruction, focusing on student goals. Carmina uses a mix of conversation, grammar, and current events to keep class lively and interesting. She is my “go to” not only for language but also Spanish culture.

Learning Spanish with Carmina is a game changer. Her conversation-based classes and flexible schedule are absolutely ideal. I have taken individual and small group classes and benefit from both immensely. She adapts each lesson to meet you where you are while patiently and persistently pushing you towards greater speaking and listening skills. As a Spanish learner, I so appreciate this structured conversing format. Plus, I have found the journey to her class to be great exercise and taking in the beauty of Granada.

Carmina is a fantastic teacher! Both my husband and I have taken individual and small-group classes with her over the years. She easily meets you "where you're at" with the language and is able to break down language/grammar concepts in easy-to-understand ways. Carmina also makes the classes fun and dynamic -- we read articles, watch videos, have lively discussions, etc and talk about current events, cultural practices, and other topics the students find interesting. Highly recommend!
